The picture of us in front of a Christmas tree is actually at the Captain Cook Hotel in downtown Anchorage. We went to visit their gingerbread village and stayed for drinks and merriment (how can you not!?).
So, the verdict: The high temperature has been ~18-degrees, the low ~9. It's snowy. It's white. The dogs lick. They let me cook. And we're all having a WONDERFUL time!

Wow, those trees look beautiful! We will be enjoying a comfortable 78 degrees for Christmas - want to split the difference & we can both have about 45 degrees? Love you, Beek!
