Be Careful What You Wish For

These are pictures of my new home in Eagle River, ALASKA!! When I arrived, there was barely 6 inches of snow on the ground, so what did I do? I wished for more! Little did I know that it would come a week later by the FOOT! This is the snow that Will and I had to shovel off of the driveway...over a foot and a half. Luke (the dog) didn't seam to mind of course, though.

The picture of us in front of a Christmas tree is actually at the Captain Cook Hotel in downtown Anchorage. We went to visit their gingerbread village and stayed for drinks and merriment (how can you not!?).

So, the verdict: The high temperature has been ~18-degrees, the low ~9. It's snowy. It's white. The dogs lick. They let me cook. And we're all having a WONDERFUL time!

Hope you all Washingtonians (and friends from far away lands) are keeping warm and dry and having FUN!!

I LOVE YOU!
